What Goes Into a Thrifty Bundle?

Every bundle starts at a thrift store — or a book sale, an estate lot, or a stack someone passed along. The hunt is part of the joy.

The curation process

I look for books in great condition: clean pages, solid spines, no heavy annotation (a few pencil notes are charming, actually). Then I sort by genre and start pairing. The goal is always a little surprise — a familiar comfort read alongside something you might never have picked up on your own.

The extras

Every bundle comes with at least one bookish extra. This might be:

A handmade or printed bookmark

A reading log sheet

A tea packet or small snack

A sticker or two from local makers

A genre tag (yes, the little label tied with twine)

The wrapping

The kraft paper and twine are intentional. I want the unwrapping to feel like opening a gift — even if you bought it for yourself. Especially if you bought it for yourself.

Why pre-loved?

Pre-loved books carry something new ones don't: the feeling that someone else loved them first. A story that's already traveled. That's not a compromise — it's the whole point.
